May you shine,

 May you suck fresh,

The fiery sparkle of the sun,

May its energies be with you,

And may you exceed our lowly expectations.

 

 

And about the empty bellies that  despise us:

May you feed them,

May you be patient with them,

May you travel far and wide to meet their needs,

Bearing in mind we are no different from the hypocrites we condemn,

And there, may you cut through layers and layers of contempt

and tenderly touch their hearts,

May you teach them art, music, words and other profounder things,

And may they love you,

And listen to you,

And may you find contentment,

And purpose,

And may your  ego finally rest,

from the demons and other darknesses

 

But one day,

After the toxics have worn off,

May you return to God,

Condense the sum of my feebleness,
Let your judging focus be stade on the things you love most about me,

Disappoint you like a mother knows how to wind it's baby, this is part of what makes me beautiful, love me like the sky and how accepting it is that the stars and the moon are not always visible,
Make a home for me with tolerance of all my dark sides.

Love all my stars, even the ones that fall on you like staple on paper, it will hurt but I promise we will be inseparable if you stay.

I thought one would find it in a palace
perhaps on someone's tiara
in comfortable strain,
where my heart wouldn't really faint,
indeed,
thought such beauty was borne out of
morality and righteous living.
however, to my shock,
 I found the sparkle in precious filth,
refined in seeming normality
of bad luck, stagnant dreams
and nothing special in particular


a restless heart seeking home
in violent chaos
where heaven and hell wrestle for a soul,
somewhat dancing with dangerous chance
deciding between life and death
yet the conundrum hid itself from my deviant eye
may God find me
to rest my tired soul
and to give me a crown
and a new heart,
for a new beginning
into eternity and abundant life, real life
until then,
may I seek your face
may I seek eternity
may I forfeit my right to enjoy this moment
through discipline and prayer
to passionately seek you
and there in my lack,
in my demerit to entitle myself to pretty things,
may you find me,
hungry and crying for you.
and by your grace may you fill this empty heart,
this busy heart,
this painful heart,
and may love exceed fear, anxiety and all the inadequacy I ever felt,
indeed may the object of my troubles seem like filth to me,
and may my goal be God and nothing else,
may practicing his love, be my highest goal...
