Birthday reflections

May we WAKE UP from the busy traffic of chasing after the empty promises of a good life, May we be profoundly aware of the shortness of life and may that drive us to seek eternal purpose in Christ and not in our decaying selves...and after we’ve fulfilled our hidden agendas... those selfish ambitions and unholy preoccupation with romance, success & other God- undermining things ...I hope  we discern the rubishness of these fleeting things...May we then take time to pause, reflect, introspect, repent & seek Christ, and may he be the renewer and shaper of our lives’ purpose. Colossians 2: 7. , Psalm 90:12

I'm finally home.

but in this house, only renowned poets retire,

so the refuge  here, is not quite deserved

I wish they'd take me to another oasis

wherein, known or unknown we all belonged,

and there I'd share my gift

with hyprocrites and saints alike,

for I am  looking for an intellectual debate

more than that its resolution,

I want this generation to talk about :

 *oppulence and social injustice.

*the redistribution of wealth and the bravery   to command it!

speaking about this and knowing when not to...

though a man must exercise reasoned patience

and speak with caution about the queries in his heart,

 someone must vocalise these things,

problems and their solutions, adress them and then people will progress

Though some may hate you ,

speak the truth,

Unless if  man's favour and applause are all you seek...

perhaps I might brave the chaos,

and rest for those who listen with their temper.

and speak for those who have tried to on their own,

maybe then , this change I long for will be realised...

 One day I will...
